BT launches 4K HDR BT TV Box Pro

British Telecom (BT) launched the BT TV Box Pro and described it as the most advanced set-top box for the TV platform. The set-top box is designed to support next-generation TV viewing, and its features include 4K HDR viewing and Dolby Atmos, providing a complete immersive experience. British Telecom has also introduced a new user interface for new and old customers to provide them with a more intuitive way of control.

　　 The device is designed to allow customers to take full advantage of the various TV packages on BT TV.

　　1) 4K HDR-Quadruple high-definition details, providing vivid and clear details, with higher contrast, brighter and more vivid pictures

　　3) 1TB storage space-twice the capacity of the previous BT TV box, can record up to 600 hours

　　4) Four tuners-allow customers to record up to three programs and watch the fourth program at the same time

　　5) Bluetooth remote control – provides a faster and smoother experience and allows the box to be stored out of sight when needed

　　 Similar to its predecessor, BT TV Box Pro is equipped with an integrated search function to help simplify the viewing process without the viewer having to remember which program is on which platform. BT TV's set-top box also provides pause, rewind and recording functions-to ensure that customers will not miss their favorite programs.

　　 Although it initially provided a wired connection, BT TV Box Pro has Wi-Fi capabilities and plans to update it later this year.

　　 In addition to the new set-top box, BT also introduced a new enhanced user interface. The new homepage presents content in the smooth, image-led way described by British Telecom, while the unified search function is easier to find. Viewers can search in all applications and live TV, and easily continue to retrieve from where they left last time. There is also a more intuitive "My TV" section for easy access to recordings and on-demand watch lists. You can Continue to watch content in it.

"Since the launch of the flexible TV program, we have seen so much feedback, and now this award-winning platform is about to enter the next generation viewing stage. We still have many plans, and I can't wait to share with our customers as soon as possible. "

　　BT TV Box Pro is initially offered to new customers who purchase VIP packages, and will be added to other packages in due course. The VIP package is £65 per month, including NOW cinema, entertainment, sports membership and NOW Boost. This provides BT TV customers with the most comprehensive Sky channels, including Sky Atlantic, Sky One and all Sky Cinema channels (including more than 1,000 on-demand movies), as well as BT Sport Ultimate and Eurosport up to 4K HDR.

　　 This IP-enabled box is designed to support all future IP streaming media and works with BT Smart Hubs and Complete Wi-Fi and BT TV mobile apps.

How far(long) the transmitter cover?

The transmission range depends on many factors. The true distance is based on the antenna installing height , antenna gain, using environment like building and other obstructions , sensitivity of the receiver, antenna of the receiver . Installing antenna more high and using in the countryside , the distance will much more far.

EXAMPLE 5W FM Transmitter use in the city and hometown:

I have a USA customer use 5W fm transmitter with GP antenna in his hometown ,and he test it with a car, it cover 10km(6.21mile).
