Requirements for inverter installation

Inverters are widely used in the field of industrial automation, when users purchase inverters from inverter manufacturers. First of all, it must be installed. How should we install it if it costs professionals? Below, the inverter manufacturer will introduce in detail what are the installation requirements of the inverter?

　　 (1) The structure room or electrical room should be less humid and free of water.

　　 (3) The frequency conversion device is easy to move in and install, and there is enough space for maintenance and inspection.

　　 (4) Ventilation openings or ventilation devices should be provided to discharge the heat generated by the inverter.

　　(5) It should be separated from devices that are susceptible to high-order harmonic interference and radio interference generated by the inverter.

　　 (6) If it is installed outdoors, it must be installed separately in accordance with the outdoor power distribution device.

　　The ambient temperature of the inverter refers to the temperature near the end face of the inverter. The allowable value of the ambient temperature during operation is usually 0～40℃ or -10～50℃, avoid direct sunlight.

　　Pay attention to prevent water or water vapor from directly entering the inverter, so as not to cause electric leakage, even ignition, and breakdown. Too high ambient humidity will reduce electrical insulation and corrode metal parts. Therefore, the recommended value of ambient humidity is 40% to 80%.

　　 When installed indoors, there should be no corrosive, flammable, explosive gas, dust and oil mist around it. If there is corrosive gas, it is easy to cause corrosion of the metal parts, which will affect the long-term operation of the inverter.

How far(long) the transmitter cover?

The transmission range depends on many factors. The true distance is based on the antenna installing height , antenna gain, using environment like building and other obstructions , sensitivity of the receiver, antenna of the receiver . Installing antenna more high and using in the countryside , the distance will much more far.

EXAMPLE 5W FM Transmitter use in the city and hometown:

I have a USA customer use 5W fm transmitter with GP antenna in his hometown ,and he test it with a car, it cover 10km(6.21mile).

I test the 5W fm transmitter with GP antenna in my hometown ,it cover about 2km(1.24mile).

I test the 5W fm transmitter with GP antenna in Guangzhou city ,it cover about only 300meter(984ft).
