    　The digital television terrestrial broadcasting standard DVB-T was released in 1997. The original intention of the standard is not for mobile reception. However, the trial operation in Singapore and Germany proved that DVB-T performs very well in the mobile environment of high bit rate transmission (see Figure 1). However, due to relatively large power consumption, battery-powered mobile terminals are not suitable for receiving digital TV programs through terrestrial digital TV broadcasting networks. For this reason, it is necessary to introduce new technologies on the basis of DVB-T to form a new transmission standard suitable for mobile terminals to receive terrestrial digital TV programs.

    The DVB-H (early DVB-X) standard that began to be studied around 2002 is called Handheld Digital Video Broadcasting. It is DVB (European Digital Television Broadcasting Standardization Group, established in 1993 and composed of more than 300 companies from 35 countries) The transmission standard established by the organization to provide multimedia services to portable/handheld terminals through terrestrial digital broadcasting networks. The DVB-H standard is considered to be an extended application of the DVB-T standard. However, compared with DVB-T, DVB-H terminal has lower power consumption and superior mobile reception and anti-interference performance. Therefore, this standard is suitable for mobile phones, handheld computers and other small portable devices to receive through terrestrial digital TV broadcasting networks. Digital TV signal without occupying precious frequency band resources in the mobile communication network. In fact, the DVB-H standard is a standard that relies on the current DVB-T transmission system to enable portable devices such as mobile phones to stably receive broadcast and television signals by adding certain additional functions and improved technologies.
