STMAL Steval-Drone01 UAV Development Kit Review: Easy DIY a mini drone

The kit contains all parts required for your assembly of full-featured mini drones (except tools). During the operation, the flight control unit will pass the speed of the motor through the firmware, thereby ensuring that the mini drone remains stable. All of this is done by the microcontroller of the flight control unit, which will use data from accelerometer and gyroscope to achieve flight stability and control purposes. The flight control unit contains a Bluetooth module that you can download the app from the SSS, and then control the mini drone via the Android phone or tablet. The settings in the application can be modified according to personal preferences. In addition, the Android application code is an open source code that can be obtained on Github. Please note that after assembling the drone, you must calibrate the sensor and enable flight control unit to actually let go of mini drones. To calibrate the sensor, place the mini drone on the flat surface, then press the reset button on the flight control unit, and finally control the "lever" on the application to the following location: When calibrating the sensor, control the location where the application "lever" is located. For safety reasons, the mini-drone flight control unit is initially disabled. To enable the flight control unit, you must put the "lever" on the control application at least two seconds as follows: When the flight control unit is enabled, the location where the application "lever" is controlled. When this unit is enabled, the red LED will stop flashing and keeping a power-on state. You are now ready for the first time.
