ADI launches industry minimum jitter RF clock IC - AD9525

Analog Devices, Inc. (NASDAQ: Adi) The world's leading high-performance signal processing solution supplier, recently introduced RF clock IC (RF Clock Integrated Circuit) AD9525 with the industry's lowest jitter characteristics, suitable for high speed data conversion and most Communication and instrumentation applications of Jiaxin noise ratio (SNR) performance. The AD9525 RF Clock IC has an absolute broadband RMS (root) jitter of 83 fs (1 kHz to 100 MHz offset) at 245.76 MHz, including the jitter contribution of an external VCO (voltage controlled oscillator). The new RF clock IC supports up to 3.6 GHz output speed, which is nearly three times faster than the similar clock. The combination of high speed and low jitter is especially important for instrumentation and defense electronic applications, such applications require extremely clean clock synthesis to achieve data conversion operations in GSPS (billions of samples per second).
