The AD9129 RF DAC has industry-leading direct RF frequency synthesis performance, and the output of the entire output spectrum is minimal. The device also supports biamatic clock operation, which is configured to effectively improve the converter update rate to 5.6 GSPS when configured as a mixed mode or 2X interpolation mode. Its high dynamic range and wide bandwidth characteristics can produce multi-carriers up to 4.2 GHz. The device is only 1.1 W at a full speed 2.8 GSPS DAC update rate.
The AD9129 integrates dual port, source synchronization LVDS (low voltage differential signal) interface, simplifies data interfaces with host FPGA or ASIC. On-chip DLL (Delayed Locking Ring) Optimizes timing between different clock domains, and SPI (serial section interface) is used to configure the AD9129 and monitor the status of the echthical register.
