The first F (N) unit: illuminating experience
We will make a 3U x 84HP wooden casing for the PS module and equipped with controllable LED light strips to illuminate the studio and cooperate with live performances. The second phase of the challenge is to create an EURORAck module that can dynamically manipulate various parameters and playback.

F (N) The first generation of synthesis projects is Berlin's graphic artist Meghan Hui (Null-la) and Jonas Sella's cardiode crystallization. Thereafter, some brainstorms were made, inspired two, and started to make the first modular system named PS Modular.
PS Modular is designed to bring simple elements to music aesthetics, create a modular synthesizer. Since its inception, this project has been continuously developed - has a batch of fanatics, and perfect it through many modular enthusiasts and electronic artists through Los Angeles.
In the past two years, NULL-LA has been actively listening to our creators, and they incentives us to use this new way to develop F (N) series - this continuous expandable unique accessory series.
Construction future: f (n) series
F (N) Series Chassis Accessories is a method of solving interactive problems that can be constructed and continuously improved user experience.
In the research and development of the PS module, we found some meaningful things. We plan to solve the high threshold problem in this field by reducing huge start-up costs and internal procurement. By simplifying and collaborating with industry partners, we can create the most advanced modular synthesizer from the beginning without bringing funds.
Our goal is to let the musicians of all walks of life chase their dreams. To achieve this goal, we have established resource communities in the development and design of product development and design. Through this, we can further help artists play their creativity.

HackADAY Challenge provides us with a platform that introduces the first accessory in the F (N) accessory series: embedded LED lamp functions, optimized for the studio and live performances. Jstory's artist perspective
Josh Story is a Los Angeles producer, engineer and sound enthusiast.
The picture shows Triptronics is showing his project results, at the Little Joy Bar of Los Angeles Echo Park. I have played modular for about 4 years.
I first contact the modular synthesis is the Berkeley Music Academy, where I have been fortunate to play a complete Buchla system, which is ARP 2600 and takes a course of learning synthesis on the NORD module. At that time, I didn't know how to use Buchla, and ARP was very strange for me.
Until my friend Jonas bought a small starter of Pittsburgh, I really fascinated the modularity. I don't want to "make music with laptop" in the box, I want to play a real musical instrument.
Once I start to see and listen to the sound of the little Pitzburgh rack, I will inspire my inspiration.
My first system
Jonas is experimenting using laser-cut acrylic housing and plays a PS Modular project with Meghan Hui. My first system is a failed project. I paid $ 20 for this, and then attended the game with a 6U 84hp ps modular prototype. I started to make a DIY toolkit (because I can't afford the designer's completely assembled module), and I am very obsessed with this.
The system then begins to extend and become bigger.

First live performance
The first experience of field performances using a modular synthesizer is Jonas's new underground marble party held in the city center of Los Angeles.
We decided to update our project from the beginning of the audience, although we did not plan in advance, all this is very good. Now I still remember the beautiful time.
As our voice continues to develop and expand, we improve our project.

Advance in the darkness
Jonas used the headlights, I set a small IKEA lamp, trying to illuminate my rack, but it's too straight, and didn't fully illuminate my system. During the performance, the light made me feel uncomfortable. I have tried the same lights in other performances, but it has never played a role.
Direct view of the needs of artists
Modular music gave me a new freedom when playing and performing. The main goal of modular music is always capable of playing and playing all complete live music while having dynamic and contrast music.
In order to do this, I need to feel comfortable, because I can see what I am doing anyway, I can see what I am doing. Now there is F (N-1): Light function.
Design thinking is an important part of our creative process - find solutions to problems, understand different perspectives, and adjust ideas and ways to find creative solutions. As the core, the creator community share the most crazy ideas, the deepest demand and basic needs, and the designer also faces the various challenges faced by the artist's daily.
The artist is a guardian of human imagination. Their lifestyle or "Vienna mode" is found through creative expression and realistic it.
As a designer, we work in different fields. We are committed to getting dreams into reality - through finding innovation to solve problems, so that artists can focus on doing truthful things: creating music.
Null Modular and F (N) series are our response to artists. As a manufacturer, we hope to stimulate the idea of artists.
