(FWB: DLG) announced recently: launching its most powerful and highest integration of ARM quad-core and dual-core application processors, configurable power management Chip (PMIC). The six DC / DC converters in the newly launched DA9063 provide up to 12A current, 24% higher than its closest other competitive products. It can simultaneously supply power to processors (up to 5A current output to the processor and coordinator), external memory, wireless communication (WLAN, and Bluetooth), GPS, FM (FM) radio and data modem power supply. Its DC / DC converter provides power output of 3A and 5A simultaneously. In addition to 6 major DC / DC output, the DA9063 has 11 SmartMirror Low Pressure Difference Linear Regulators (LDOs), 16 Universal Input Output (GPIO) ports, 2 power switches. Any boot order, output voltage, and DVC curves can be programmed, which reduces the unprecedented opportunities for designers to minimize their system energy consumption. For example, under the monitoring of DA9063, the current application can be completely turned off and restarted. The PMIC will maximize battery life by providing dynamic voltage adjustment (DVS), which is not implemented by discrete method. In addition, the multimode buck converter can operate on the 3MHz switching frequency, so that only 1 mm high inductors can be used while maintaining a high peak current.
The device has a wide power supply voltage range of 2.7V-5.5V, which can be used in a single core lithium battery, and a standard 5V power supply or a USB power supply, which is especially important for non-mobile systems.
