GENELEC 8030A two-degree existing source monitor speaker
The experience of research and development of active monitor speakers in more than 20 years, Genelec really strives to build 8000 series active monitor speakers, further extends the real experience. Each of the listening speakers has excellent performance and bring its performance capabilities into a new realm. When you require high quality sound quality in a smaller space environment (such as the near-field monitoring, family studios, workstations and small fixed installations, you need to choose from the real 8030A. The 8030A has a small volume, using a 5-inch bass unit and a 3/4 inch metal ball top treble unit, the frequency response range is 55 Hz - 21kHz (+/- 3dB). High, the bass unit is pushed by 40 watt power vessel, respectively, and the sound pressure level can reach 108 dB. Like other 8000 series speakers, 8030A has advanced DCWTM technology to further enhance the directivity of the speaker. This unique round sliding surface is integrated on the box, making the effective area to achieve maximum, thereby obtaining an abnormal straight frequency response within a larger acoustic axis. In order to improve the frequency response, the real design of innovative MDETM (minimum diffraction case) structure, its sleek edge and slightly curved front and sides are to produce the most outstanding frequencies and the smallest case edge diffraction effect. The 8000 series speaker uses a very rigid and thin die-cast aluminum material, which has the best hardness weight ratio to make the cabinet resonance, thereby obtaining more ideal case damping. Wear-resistant spray painted surface and metal mesh cover makes the speaker even less damage even under harsh handling. As a standard configuration, each 8000 series speakers include an ISO-PODTM cabinet isolation support. This separable rubber base can adjust the pitch angle of the speaker to point the acoustic axis to the correct listening position, the effect of which avoids unnecessary vibration to the mixer or placement surface. A plurality of installation fixes are reserved on the 8030A backplane for wall mounting. The 3/8 inch ribbies at the bottom can be used for landing bracket installation. The 8030A is a magnetic shield design.
