Linear Technology Corporation launches high-input voltage synchronous buck-down DC / DC controller LTC3810H-5, which has a guaranteed performance specification at the temperature temperature up to 150 ° C. This device uses a constant on-time valley current mode control architecture without having to detect the resistor and can provide a very small duty cycle and extremely fast transient response. This rugged controller can directly reduce the voltage from 60V to a value range from 0.8V to 93% VIN. The powerful 1Ω built-in gate driver minimizes switching losses caused by high frequency and high voltage driving N-channel MOSFETs (aimed to provide up to 25A output current).
