High-pass S4 series processor new MSM8226 / 8626

Qualcomm announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Qualcomm Technology has added MSM8226, MSM8626, two new wafers, and corresponding reference design (QRD). These two four-core processors introduce excellent multimedia and connection function into the Mass 3G market. Through the Adreno 305 drawing processor, 1080p image capture the quality, and the camera function of up to 1,3 million pixels, MSM8226 and MSM8626 will bring amazing visual experience and long-active battery life for public smart phones. Two processors also support UMTS, CDMA, TD-SCDMA, will be downtown in the second quarter of 2013. Based on the previous quad-core processor, Gao Tong MSM8226, MSM8626 uses 28 nanometers, with multiple card functions to continue to support dual card dual standby. In addition to the four-core processing capabilities, these two processors combine the WTR2605 multi-mode frequency transceiver, which is optimized for China's required TD-SCDMA, CDMA 1XADV, HSPA +. WTR2065 RF transceiver integrates high efficiency GPS core, supports Glonass and Beidou navigation systems, and WTR2065 can save 40% of power consumption and 60% of the board area compared to the previous generation. Qualcomm technology also introduces the reference design corresponding to MSM8226 and MSM8626. QRD contains a complete mobile phone development platform, providing third-party supplies commercially testing soft, hardware, making device manufacturers can quickly create a smart phone with unique user experiences for the mass market. Two QRD8226 and QRD8626 reference design for Qualcomm New Snapdragon S4 processors will be downtown in the second quarter of 2013.
