Texas Instrument Corporation (TI) has recently issued two new RF sample transceivers. These two transceivers integrate four analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) and four digital-to-analog converters (DACs) on a single chip. The four-channel AFE7444 and dual-channel AFE7422 transceivers have industry-leading frequency ranges and instantaneous bandwidths, and the occupancy is reduced by 75% compared to discrete solutions, which can help engineers easier in radar, software radio and wireless 5G applications. Simplified frequency plan using high bandwidth
The industry's leading maximum instantaneous bandwidth (IBW): AFE7444 and AFE7422's highest instantaneous bandwidth is higher than the industry's similar radio frequency sampling transceiver, which helps engineers achieve up to 6 times data flux. The highest sample rate of each digital-to-digital converter of AFE7444 can reach 9GSPS, analog-to-digital converter up to 3 GSPS, and can send up 800 MHz information from each antenna (4); AFE7422 can be from each antenna (total 2) information on the transfer of 1.2 GHz.
Wide frequency range: Using new RF sampling broadband transceivers, engineers can more flexibly design applications at 10 MHz to 6 GHz.
Simplify the design process of direct radio frequency sampling
