The ADP1650 has excellent flexibility, providing programmable I? C compatible interfaces, programmable flashlights and flash current modes (one LED is up to 1500 mA), two separate TXMask1 inputs, and a 4-bit ADC. Under the typical battery voltage, the efficiency is as high as 85% (90% of the peak), which can reduce the high level of the battery current during the flash, and limit the battery current consumed in the flashlight mode. The ADP1650 uses an ultra-compact 2mm 1.5mm, 12-pin WLCSP package, which reduces the requirements of the PCB (printed circuit board).
The ADP1650 integrated can be programmed to be 1.5MHz or 3.0MHz synchronous sensitive boost converter, 1 mm high small low cost, 1μH power inductance, and 0603 size input and output capacitance to achieve a complete high power flash design. This new LED driver can efficiently work over the entire battery voltage range, and maximize the conversion effect of the input power to the LED power, and minimize battery current consumption when the flash is lowered. The ADP1650 is designed to use finite battery currents for flashlights to easily connect the latest image sensors and processors to shoot images in a picture quality in a low light environment.
