"The Arduino open source development board is a very popular platform that allows engineers and manufacturers to quickly prototype their projects. Its success and versatility are driven by its communities, which use it to drive home automation, power robots, augmented reality and many other projects.
Although Arduino itself is an excellent tool for any project, combining it with a shield can expand its functions and upgrade the platform to a new level. In this review, we will look at some more useful masks that can turn an ordinary project into an excellent project.
1:Keyestudio Easy Module Shield
Keyestudio's easy module shield is a learning platform, which provides a learning platform for those who have just entered the Arduino world. It does not need any welding and is very convenient to use. The additional board has DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor, lm35d temperature sensor, rotary potentiometer and photoresistor. It also has an infrared receiver, piezoelectric buzzer, RGB / Blue / red LED, 2-channel digital port, single channel analog port, IIC interface, TTL serial port and a pair of buttons. Easy module shielding is only compatible with Arduino uno R3.
2: Dragino LoRa Shield
Dragino's Lora shield is an excellent circuit board. It adds a remote transceiver to Arduino, but at the cost of low data rate. The shielding layer is based on the sx1276 / sx1278 chip of Semtech, and the sensitivity can reach more than - 148dbm. Features include a programmable bit rate of up to 300kbps, a low RX current of 10.3ma (200na register hold), a fully integrated synthesizer (resolution of 61hz), and a built-in bit synchronizer for clock recovery. It also has a built-in temperature sensor and low battery indicator, 127 DB dynamic range RSSI, automatic RF sensing and CAD with ultrafast AFC, and many others.
3: Adafruit 1.8 Inch color TFT shield with micro SD / JOYSTICK
Some projects may require some type of display. Adafruit's 1.8-inch (128 x 160) color TFT screen is a good choice, even including a micro SD slot, three selection buttons and a 5-way joystick for navigation. The shield is' Arduino R3 'compatible, making it possible to use all Arduino (mega, zero, etc.) and Metro microcontroller plug-in boards. The shield also has 4-wire SPI digital interface, airborne 3.3V (@ 150mA) LDO regulator, I2C seesaw chip, and 5V compatibility (using 3.3V or 5V logic).
4:1Sheeld +
1Sheet + is Arduino's Bluetooth Le tether shield, which can turn Android and IOS smartphones into 40 different shields. This shield is divided into two parts - the shield itself and the mobile application. On the shielding side, the board has ATMEL Atmega162, Bluetooth Le module, and communicates with Arduino through UART. The circuit board acts as an intermediary to transfer data between the smartphone and the Arduino circuit board.
The application allows you to choose to use 40 virtual screens of smart phone sensors instead of physical boards. For example, you can use the gyroscope of your mobile phone to control the remote control vehicle, or use voice commands to control the lighting system.
5:Arduino Motor Shield REV3
Arduino's motor shield allows the circuit board to drive DC and stepper motors, relays and solenoids - which is essentially essential hardware if you plan to build a robot. The motor shield is built around the L298 dual full bridge drive, allowing you to control two DC motors, including each independent speed and direction. More importantly, the shield is compatible with tinkerkit, allowing you to connect many different modules, including MOSFET receivers, additional relays, etc.
6:Adafruit Wave Shield
Adafruit's wave shield solves many problems related to low quality audio (including rough ISD chip) and allows you to play 22khz, 12 bit uncompressed audio files of any length. It has on-board DAC, filter, operational amplifier (for HQ output) and SD card slot. The shielded output is mono, l and R channels. The standard 3.5mm earphone jack is connected with the speaker. When the earphone is unplugged, the speaker will turn on. It should be noted that wave shield is only compatible with uno and duemilanove (arduinos based on 328).
7:ExCamera Gameduino 2 Shield
Gameduino 2 is an exciting shield that transforms Arduino into a handheld game console. Shield has a 4.3-inch (480 x 272 / 24 bit) touch screen, embedded GPU, headphone jack, accelerometer and micro SD slot. The board is driven by ft800 Eve (embedded video game engine), provides resistive touch screen input, and uses a 3-axis accelerometer for tilt based games. Users can design their own games through the OpenGL command set, create 2000 wizard objects of any size, and download games and sketches from the gameduono 2 library on the excamera website.
8:TinySine GSM / GPRS Shield
Tinysine's GSM / GMRs shield is an excellent motherboard that allows you to use GSM and GMRs cellular networks. Put in the SIM card, you can send / receive SMS, make phone calls and surf the Internet. Shield basically turns Arduino into a mobile phone or for other applications, such as collecting remote sensor data and uploading it to the network. Shielding sim800f module based on simcom, four frequency 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz can be used. It also has speaker / headphone jack, GSM antenna, 12 gpios, 2x PWM and an ADC (2.8V logic).
9:Cytron PS2 Shield
Cytron's PS2 shield is a great add-on board because it allows you to connect a wireless or wired PlayStation 2 controller to Arduino, allowing you to control projects using a joystick. The input is sent to Arduino through UART (different baud rates 4800960057600115200), and the controller will automatically operate in analog mode, allowing you to use two joysticks.
10: Nootropic design video experimental shield
Nootropic design's video experimenter shield allows you to perform a variety of video manipulation experiments, including covering text and graphics, and object detection of computer vision projects in many other applications. Shield is designed around the LM1881 video synchronization separator chip, which can detect the vertical / horizontal synchronization timing of composite video signals (VCR, DVR, camera, etc.). This allows you to capture video images for processing, and even decode NTSC closed captions and XDS data embedded in TV broadcasts.
Arduino shields is a very useful add-on board that can help add any number of different projects and make them easy to implement. For every project you can imagine, there are boards. If not, shield can help you make them. This is the great premise behind the board - if you can dream about it, you can build it.
