Lineart launches DC / DC miniature module buck regulator LTM4620

Milpitas, CAs, CA, CA, Milpitas, September 10, 2012 - Linear Technology Corporation launches dual output or 26A single output DC / DC miniature module (μModule) buck per output 13a Type regulator LTM4620, when 4 devices are in a current state, up to 100A current can be provided. The LTM4620 is a complete DC / DC regulator system with 15mm x 15mm x 4.41mm LGA package, including inductors, power levels, and all control circuits. To achieve optimum heat dissipation, the patented top heat sink has been quickly and uniformly removed. In the case of 200LFM airflow, 12vin to 1.0vout and 26a full load (or per output 13a), the internal temperature of the LTM4620 rises to 60oC higher than the ambient temperature. Increases an external heat sink to the top surface and in 200LFM airflow, temperature rise is only 40oC. The LTM4620 is designed to convert 5V to 12V input to high power, low voltage load point system rails (for example, 2.5V to as low as 0.6V). Accurate reference and internal distal detection amplifiers can guarantee ± 1.5% accurate output adjustment when the voltage, load and temperature changes. The voltage detection of the load end can compensate for the pressure drop caused by the PCB trace impedance. The LTM4620 has excellent heat dissipation, slightly temperature rise, scalable and large output power capabilities, small-size board area, and flat packaging, so that system designers can make circuit board layouts. Applications include the MEZZANINE circuit board such as ATCA and MicroTCA systems, load point adjustment, ASIC and recently launched 28nm FPGA, and high-speed SERDES. The LTM4620 has a fast short circuit protection, and the current folding technology is minimized, while protecting the load and upstream power supply, it also prevents the μModule regulator from overheating. Once the short-circuit fault is eliminated, the LTM4620 recovers to run. The two outputs of the LTM4620 are inverted by 180o, and the output ripple can be minimized (when outputting average flow) and the input ripple can be used to use a smaller number and smaller volume of capacitors. For the 100A design, 4 LTM4620 devices can be accurately brought and run at 90o. The Rated operating temperature range of the LTM4620 is -40oC to 125oC. A thousand batches price is $ 29.99 per piece.
