Microsoft Win10 search disk and CPU usage expensive problem repair

The indexer often scans new files and applications on your computer. During the scanning process, the CPU and disk usage may increase, and may result in a low-end hardware to reach 100%. With Windows 10 20H2 update, Microsoft will update Windows Search to suspend the index preparation process when you actively use your computer. Microsoft said that it has improved an algorithm for automatically finding an index file time. Windows Search will also restrict the number of times it is based on content that does not affect the search results. Although these improvements will arrive in the second quarter of this year, Microsoft has introduced a new algorithm for Windows search in the Windows 10 2004 version. The new algorithm detects excessive use and other performance issues, and restricts search indexing activities to prevent system from slowing down.
