This document provides useful information about the C language application from Hi1000 / 4 to Ri600 / 4, especially for specifications from Hi1000 / 4 to Ri600 / 4. Overview Chart 1 outlines the transition from the application assets from Hi1000 / 4 to Ri600 / 4. Application Asset Transfer Overview C application source code Some parts associated with compiler differences in C source code should be modified in some cases. In addition, the code should be modified according to the difference between the operating system specifications described in the following sections. Assembly language application source code The H8SX, H8S series and the RX series assembly language is not compatible; a new assembly language code should be created for the RX series. GUI Configurator File (.hcf) Ri600 / 4 supports GUI Configurator, but Hi1000 / 4 and Ri600 / 4. HCF file is not compatible. See Section 14.1, the difference between the configurator. Workspace (.hws ,.hwp) Due to the specification of High-Performance Embedded Workshop, Workspace created for H8SX, H8S family cannot be used for RX families; a new work area should be created for the RX series. Parameter data type and size The table in Figure 2 shows the difference between the Hi1000 / 4 and Ri600 / 4 in each parameter data type and size. When the application uses the data type of the shadow in the table, check and change the code that uses such data types.
