Personality retro Arduino radio DIY, two ways to work

The device shown in the video is a standard FM Arduino radio, but the look retro. A linear scale is included in which this point is an integral part of the WS2812 LED lamp with a color LED point. For the same hardware, I will introduce you to two different ways, actually two different code. In the first case, manually select the station using a rotary encoder, in which case the encoder analog variable capacitors. Similarly, in the code, we can redefine known radio radio frequencies, and then select these frequencies by pressing the rotary encoder switch. We can actually "remember" the like "like. This time we will not discuss the sensitivity and selectivity of the receiver because our focus is the unpredictable scale with retro appearance. In any case, the function of the radio chip used is limited. In the second case, we use the search function to perform automatic extension dialing. The rotating encoder to the left or right can activate this function. Blue LED flashing indicates that the dial is being dial, and the green LED indicates that the mono has been received, and the red LED indicates that the stereo is received. These codes are taken from the Franz-Josef HAFFNER blog. In the second code, I have some small modifications to the number of LEDs in the column, the sensitivity threshold of the LEDs and the sensitivity threshold detected by radio signals. On his blog, you can see the old radio modified in different ways. The Si4703 is powered by 3.3V and therefore requires a level converter with Arduino NANO. As you can see in the figure, I don't use the level converter, but this is not because it is so correct, but because there is no current. Unexpectedly, the device can work normally without this part. Finally, I put the entire device in a suitable retro appearance housing made from 5 mm PVC, and then apply a sticker. At the end of the video, you can operate according to the method of making this radio.
