According to foreign media reports, local time August 25, electric bus manufacturer Proterra announced the launch of the latest series of battery packs - H Series (H series), which can serve as a custom energy storage system to power various heavy-duty commercial vehicles. The new H series battery pack is narrower, because it can be integrated into the standard truck frame, and provides greater flexibility for Proterra's customers. At the same time, Proterra continued to provide S-series battery pack, which provides power for PROTERRA's pure electric bus fleets and other models. The modular H series and the S series can be highly customized, allowing the vehicle to power the energy storage system using multiple battery packs. Proterra's H series battery pack is more compact, with a width of 620 mm, which can store 25 to 75 kWh electrical energy. The S-series battery pack is 860 mm, which can store energy up to 113 kWh.
