File Manager Change We have made some major changes to the PCMANFM file manager included with the Raspberry Pi Desktop; we add a reduction mode that removes many unused features and set it as default mode. One of the things we deleted in this mode is where it is a place to provide an optional view of the left pane of the window in some specific locations in the file system. We think the directory browser is more useful, so we choose to display it. But a useful feature of Places is that it displays an external device, such as a USB drive, otherwise it is difficult to find these devices in the file manager. Therefore, for this release, the location is recovered, but does not use a separate switching view, which has a small panel at the top of the directory browser. I hope this can be equipped: easily access USB drives and directory views. You can customize what you want to view the page of the Layout File Manager, you can also close it completely, if you prefer to have a directory browser. The file manager has some other small changes: there is a new folder icon on the taskbar, and the expander in the directory browser (the small triangle next to the directory name) is now displayed when the directory has a child directory.
