At present, there are several development boards evaluated by Aiban, including gd32f103, gd32f150, gd32f107 and other series of microcontroller development boards. Recently, Zhaoyi innovation has released new cost-effective enhanced gd32f205 and gd32f207 series microcontrollers based on Cortex-M3 core, which provide comprehensively enhanced processing capacity and new peripheral interface resources on the basis of existing gd32f1 products. Gd32207i Eval adopts the packaging "improved" by Zhaoyi innovation. The front of the milky white packaging box is printed with a large black logo of gd32 product series. The packaging box adopts a flip design, which can be opened by gently pulling from the front edge. The contact point is closed with a small magnet, paying great attention to the details of the product.
The package box includes a gd32207i Eval Board, an Ethernet cable and two MINIUSB cables. The two MINIUSB cables should be used for on-board USB OTG function and Gd link debugger function respectively, and do not assume the role of power supply line of the board. The power supply of the board is through 5V DC jack interface. However, the development board we obtained is not equipped with power adapter, The user needs to prepare it himself. I'm sorry.
The appearance of the whole board is not different from that of the gd32107c-eval development board previously evaluated by aiban.com. The easiest thing to distinguish between the two is a camera module on the gd32207i-eval board. The front layout of gd32207i Eval is regular, including the main controller gd32f207ikt6, an LCD module with resistive touch screen, Ethernet interface, button battery base, four mechanical keys, USB OTG interface, gd-link, UART, can interface, etc. it is not only very rich in functions, but also a development board for applications across many fields.
On the back of the board, there are only a few passive resistors and capacitors. In fact, there is a point under the Tucao, since the design has already reserved the positioning holes around the board, and the back of the board is basically bare pins. Why not directly provide several positioning columns for the support of the board, so that it can effectively avoid accidents that make complaints about the circuit short circuited when the cards are placed on some media. Power on use
Next, let's take a look at the power on use of the development board. Turn on the power supply and turn on the power switch. Gd32207i Eval is powered on and runs the factory default program. It looks like a demo of camera application. From the function upgrade of the board, it's reasonable to put a demo of camera, as shown in the figure below.
The function of demo program is to collect image information with ov7670 camera and display it on TFT-LCD screen. DCI (digital camera interface) of gd32f2 microcontroller is a synchronous parallel interface, which can obtain video and images in digital camera, and support 8-bit, 10 bit, 12 bit and 14 bit data stream and DMA operation.
When you press the user key of the board, you can take photos. The photographed images will be stored in the flash inside the chip. Wait for the image storage to end. Press the tamper key on the board, you will read the photos from the chip flash and display them on the LCD screen. To take photos again, press the wakeup button on the development board. However, when taking photos again, the later photos will overwrite the previously stored photos. The following figure shows the image information obtained by taking photos. These routines provided by Zhaoyi can support the current mainstream third-party ide tools keil and IAR. In fact, if you try the routines one by one, you will find that many routines are from the previous gd32f1 series products, but they can be shared on gd32f2.
