If you can't find it for a long time, many people will find another phone to play, to show the orientation of the phone through the ringtone. But what if you can't find the second phone for a while? Or this phone is in the quiet state, what should you do if you can't hear the ringtone?
Don't worry, we have new recruits, which are careful. For example, this project from Hackster, as long as there is particle launched Internet button on your hand, create a Recipe on the IFTTT, you can completely solve the troubles of the mobile phone.
Principle: Just press a button, the phone will automatically play music (whether it is mute) so you can listen to it, this device is made very simple, and the rookie can get it.
Hardware These things are actually very good, Particle.IO has a full set of components on their official website. The above figure is the Internet button you need; it includes a photon development board, a USB cable, and a button component (the component includes four direction buttons, a three-axis gyroscope and 11 RGB LEDs).
The author chooses Particle's product because they have rich features. In addition to web Ide and mobile SDK, you can also program these devices via the Particle GithiBatom IDE's Professional IDE based on Particle. In the following tutorials, the author will show you how to solve the trouble of finding the phone with Android equipment and web IDE in your hand.
Step 1: Connect your Photon Development Board 1.1 - Download Particle Application from the Android Play Store
1.2 - Power on your development board. The development board has a USB interface that you can use your computer as its power. At this time, the LED lamp in the development board will flash blue (meaning it enters "listening mode"); if there is no flashlight, you need to press and hold the set button for three seconds to reset.
1.3 - After the development board enters the listening mode, follow the instructions on the Particle app on the phone.
When you operate on the screen, you will see the PIN code of the development board. For the convenience of future use, the author recommended that you upgrade it directly on your phone.
Step 2: Web Ide2.1 - Open Build.PArticle.IO and log in to your account, this account is the same as the Particle app.
2.2 - Create a new application. I named it as LocatePhone.
2.3 - Follow the screenshots, click the icon to find your device. If your development board has been connected to WiFi, it opens automatic search mode. If not, you need to click on the Add New Device on the screen.
2.4 - Particle is very deep in terms of documentation and content. In the process, we will use two their libraries. Click on the Libraries icon in the lower left corner and grab both files for InternetButton.cpp and internetButton.h.
2.5 - Code section. There are four arrow keys on the button assembly, this time I set the button 3 (opposite direction of the USB interface) to the phone to retrieve the button. When you press the button 3, the LED in the 6 o'clock direction will illuminate about 1.5 seconds of violet. Because we have to use cloud and ifttt, set the function to particle.publish (). If you are an initiator, this should be studied together with the third step behind it.
2.6 - As shown, find the Verify icon on the upper left corner of the screen, then verify your code (the verified code click here).
2.7 - As shown, find a flash icon on the upper left corner of the screen, and then refresh the firmware. The LED on the development board flashes red when brushing.
Step 3: Create Recipe3.1 on IFTTT - If it is an instant newbie, first create an account.
3.2 - Next step by step to create a channel of Particle and Android.
3.3 - Follow the screenshots below, step by step to create Recipe for your internet button.
Step 4: Test 4.1 - Click the button 3 and wait for the music to ring. The general button and music start play will have a spacing of 10 to 15 seconds. The concert has been playing, unless you turn off it or your mobile phone is exhausted. Look at the following demo video:
Precautions Remember, your Internet button must be networked, the phone can not shut down. If you live with others, you can make full use of these four buttons, solve the troubles of four people.
