In addition to the system chip, the screen is one of the most important components of the mobile phone. Let's first understand what super AMOLED means to this mobile phone.
This is the Samsung 6.6-inch 2K resolution super AMOLED screen. According to industry insiders, Samsung did not have a super AMOLED screen of this size, which requires Samsung to customize design and manufacturing, special production equipment and technology, and increases the cost.
Talk about the advantages of super AMOLED screen:
1) Ultra high contrast. The Samsung super AMOLED screen adopted by glory note8 has an ultra-high contrast of 70000:1, which is more than 50 times higher than that of ordinary LCD screen. Compared with ordinary TFT, the screen display is sharper, the contour edge is clearer, and the edge blur is reduced. The bright part can be brighter, and the dark part can also be darker, with rich layers.
2) Ultra wide color saturation
Compared with ordinary LCD screen, AMOLED screen can achieve a wider color range, with NTSC color gamut up to 105% and ordinary LCD less than 80%. Generally speaking, compared with ordinary LCD, it is more realistic and the color transition is more natural. In fact, the color in nature is infinite.
3) Lower power consumption: superamoled is a self luminous display. Only necessary pixels emit light, low power consumption and high energy efficiency. When super AMOLED is not working, the OLED pixels can be turned off directly, while the LCD screen backlight needs to be lit all the time. Relatively speaking, AMOLED is more power-saving. And according to the color of the display, there are different power consumption, and black hardly consumes power.
4) Ultra thin design
AMOLED does not need backlight. It is a simple structure of two glass plates, so it can be thinner (30% thinner than LCD).
5) Compared with AMOLED, super AMOLED cancels the touch layer and air layer, and makes the touch layer directly on the display screen. Compared with AMOLED, super AMOLED has better color and clarity, more sensitive touch and faster speed.
6) The same technical term, but different manufacturers have different effects. It is undeniable that Samsung is currently the best on the AMOLED panel, which must be admitted.
What does the glory note8 look like with such powerful software and hardware? How about the internal workmanship?
Let's look at the appearance first.

The disassembled mobile phone is a platinum light gold version. Look, I'll tell you step by step.
The disassembly tool is simple:
Tweezers, screwdriver, paddle, glory note8 with thimble, no suction cup.
Before dismantling the machine, you'd better touch the metal first to release static electricity. This is a common practice for dismantling electronic products.
1. Remove the 3-in-1 Cato:
Gently push the Cato hole with the thimble in the packing box, and the Cato pops out. The card holder has two SIM card slots and one SD card slot that can expand 128G memory card
Cato is anti insertion, and conversely, it can't be inserted at all. This is "anti stupidity design", which means you can't make mistakes if you want to. In addition, there are obvious direction marks on the front of the card holder and clear card slot category marks to remind users that the details are reflected in these places.
See Cato is black? This is a small black technology. The small Cato has secrets. It is treated with Teflon + DLC, the main part of the Cato is treated with DLC, and the shaded area is sprayed with black Teflon. The purpose of this is to insulate and prevent the user from inserting the card randomly, resulting in short circuit and burning. This reflects the careful consideration of glory as a mobile phone, fool proof design, more reliable and safe.

2. Disassembling top trim:
Pry it from the right side of the trim with tweezers, as shown in Figure 9 below. Only 4 screws, warranty label. Note that another small black technology has appeared: there are four gray things near the three screws. That is the LDS antenna. The LDS antenna technology is laser direct structuring. Its advantages will be explained in detail later.

3. Separate the front and rear parts:
