"Cambridge Quantum Computing Corporation (CQC) today announced an agreement with Honeywell quantum solutions. According to this agreement, CQC will gain access to the advanced quantum computer H1 system recently announced by Honeywell.
The H1 system uses Honeywell's quantum charge coupled device (qccd) ion trap technology to provide 10 fully connected qubits and 128 verified quantum volumes, which is the highest value measured in the industry so far. Honeywell designed the system to be upgraded regularly and continuously enhance its performance, including increasing the number of qubits, improving accuracy and unique functional modifications.
The agreement enables CQC and its customers (many of which are the world's largest companies) to use Honeywell's most advanced quantum computers and CQC's enterprise software to accelerate their research and seek breakthroughs in the fields of chemistry, machine learning, optimization, materials science, finance and life sciences.
According to recent disclosure, CQC has been working with the world's leading logistics suppliers DHL and Honeywell to solve the complex computing problems of H1 system in order to significantly optimize the supply chain process. The purpose of this cooperation is to lay the foundation for the simultaneous detection of package packaging, trace energy and product waste, and to help re plan and redistribute systems in response to accidental closures, delayed shipments and cancellation of orders.
