Basic functions H8S / 228X special module consists of three parts: the timer pulse unit (the TPU); stepper motor PWM controller and LCD controller.
TPU consists of three 16-bit timer channels, including up to eight pulse input / output, each channel can be set to: compare match waveform output; an input capture function; counter clear operation; synchronous operation; timer counter can be simultaneously written; can simultaneously compare match with the input capture is cleared; synchronous counter register achieve simultaneous operation of input / output; bonded to maximum 7 synchronous operation phase PWM output.
PWM function stepping motor comprising: a maximum pulse outputs 16, 10 in which two PWM channels, each with 8 outputs, may direct and independent control stepping motor 4; 0% to 100% duty cycle; 5 operation clock; can be accessed via a high-speed 16-bit bus interface; two interrupt sources; module stop mode may be provided.
For LCD controller / driver, the important features are: 28/32 × 4 segments common pin; segment 4 used as output pins selected set of ports 11 frame rate; waveform A or B can be selected by software; built power supply separation resistance; in addition to standby mode and a stop mode module, and operation mode display.

1. microstepping motor solutions
Micro-stepping motor of low cost, simple structure, high reliability, and no maintenance, no feedback element.
