How to view the management IP address of the encoder and decoder

The encoder and decoder in Fmuser's DSTL system have a management IP address. Having this IP address, we can use the PC management software to configure the encoder and decoder. How can we know the management IP address?

When the encoder is turned on, we can press the down button (▼) of the encoder, then we can see the management IP address of the encoder in the LCD display.

The management IP address of the decoder is viewed in the same way as the encoder.

The encoder and decoder in Fmuser's DSTL system have a PC-side management software. Let me explain how this management software is used.

First, before using this management software, we first need to determine the IP address of the computer network card and the encoder, the decoded IP address is the same network segment. And confirm that the computer and the encoder and decoder can communicate normally, you can use the PING command to test.

Second, open the encoder and decoder PC management software DvbManager, the account is " admin" the password is also "admin". Always click OK to enter the main interface.

Third, we can create a new project in the project bar on the left. I will create a new test project now. Then add equipment to this project,

Fourth, let's add the encoder first. Select “HD H264 Encoder” for “Device Type”. The name will be filled according to your actual situation. “IP Address” will write the management IP address of the encoder. Finally click "OK".

When this icon becomes the connection of two computers, it means that the encoder can already be managed.

We first set the video input interface and resolution in "Video/Audio", and finally press "Set" to save.

Then set the video output address in “Destination IP Out Setting” in “TS over IP”.

Finally click "Save Config" to save the settings and restart the encoder .

Fifth, continue to add equipment in the project, Device Type" select "DVB-C/S/S2/T/T2 IRD (CI)", the name will be filled according to your actual situation, "IP Address" write decoder management IP address. Finally click "OK".

Enter the address in the "IP Input" setting in "Source setting". (ie the encoder's video output address), press "Set" to save the settings.

Go to “Source” in “Program” and select the video input interface. In the DSTL system, select “TS IP” and press “Parse” to get the program.

Select the program we want to play and press "Set" to save.

Finally, press "Save config" to save the settings and restart the decoder.
